I purchased these shorts for bikram yoga. I normally wear a small (size 2), but purchased a medium because I appreciate a little extra room since I don't like for my waist to be pinched. They are working out great, although they are a little larger than I expected in the waist, but absolutely comfy, nonetheless. I will purchase a small next time since they're actually one of the few shorts I have tried that is true to size. The length is practical, as well: Enough skin exposed to sweat/cool, yet long enough so as I feel comfortable bending over and spreading my legs and confident that I will not expose anything "unruly" or "cheeky."
